Alys Beach
The Citizen at Alys Beach
The Citizen at Alys Beach is a must-visit for lunch. Their unique menu offers a variety of dishes, including their famous avocado toast and shrimp & grits. The atmosphere is also unbeatable, with outdoor seating overlooking the beautiful Alys Beach community. The pimento cheese appitzer is delicious. The menu is varied and I haven’t tried something I didn’t like yet.

Georges at Alys Beach
Georges at Alys Beach is the perfect spot for a relaxing lunch. Try to snag a table outside. The upscale casual restaurant offers a fine dining experience with a focus on fresh, locally sourced ingredients. They have a “behave” and “misbehave” menu. I couldn’t get enough of the whipped feta board. It pairs well with a nice Savignon Blanc! Their seafood dishes are a standout, but their sandwiches are also delicious. Don’t forget to save room for dessert, as the key lime pie is not to be missed. They offer a tadpole menu for kids. When I have friends in town, I usually include a trip to Georges at Alys Beach for a nicer lunch spot on 30A.

Be sure to try their famous avocado toast or house-made granola. They have a total of 4 locations – two locations in Grayton Beach as well as Grand Boulevard at Sandestin and Seaside.

From seafood dishes to hearty burgers, there’s something for everyone at this cozy eatery. This is probably my favorite casual lunch spot on 30a. Since I have a hard to making a decision from the amazing menu, I usually opt for the Pick Two!

Located in the heart of Grayton Beach, Hurricane Oyster Bar & Grill is a must-visit for oyster lovers. They specialize in fresh locally-caught oysters and other seafood dishes. Enjoy their casual atmosphere and outdoor seating while sipping on a cold beer or glass of wine. Don’t forget to try their famous Cajun seafood enchiladas! My go-to appetizer is the fried pickles & jalapenos! And for the main course, I can never resist ordering different grilled oysters. I seem to come back to the Picatta oysters.
