One of the perks of vacationing in Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort is that you have an endless array of dining options without having to go far.
As a full-time resident in Sandestin Resort for over 20 years, I have sampled every dining option within a golf cart ride in Sandestin! Let’s focus on some of the best places to have lunch in this paradise of sun, sand, and sea.
Whether you’re in the mood for refreshing salads, hearty burgers, freshly caught seafood, or anything in between, there’s something to satisfy every palate.
Vintij Food & Wine
If you’re looking for something casual and upscale with a cozy ambiance, Vintij Food & Wine is the perfect spot. Located in Grand Boulevard at Sandestin, Vintij Food & Wine is the perfect spot for a relaxing lunch with friends or family. It’s a wine-lover’s paradise with an extensive wine list and a unique menu with fantastic daily specials. My personal favorites are the Pecan Chicken and the Vegan Lucky Bowl (although I usually add a protein…). They also have great gluten-free and vegetarian options.
Black Bear Bread Company
This artisanal bakery is a local favorite and for a good reason too. Their menu boasts a variety of sandwiches, pastries, and freshly baked bread that will leave your taste buds begging for more. Try their signature avocado toast, or the mouthwatering BLT sandwich, which features house-cured bacon and roasted garlic aioli. And don’t forget to grab a sweet treat for later.
The Wine Bar
Of all the places listed, this is my top go-to for lunch in Sandestin Resort. Are you looking to relax and enjoy a glass of wine with your lunch in a quaint setting? Then the Wine Bar in Grand Boulevard is a great option. A hidden gem in the resort, this restaurant offers a refined dining experience with excellent salads and sandwiches. They also serve an amazing pot roast! The daily happy hour special from 11 am to 6 pm is a local favorite. You’ll also find locations in WaterColor, Destin, and Pensacola.
Craft Bar
Located next door to the Wine Bar is the Craft Bar. If you are a burger fanatic, then you have to visit Craft Bar. With their handmade burgers and craft beers, this gastropub knows how to satisfy your cravings. The menu features a variety of burgers, sandwiches, and salads that are made with the freshest and highest quality ingredients. I’d highly recommend the classic cheeseburger or the lunch plate. You can also order a beer flight to discover new craft beers and broaden your horizons.
Clean Juice
If you’re looking for quick healthy and wholesome food options, Clean Juice is your go-to place. This organic juice bar and café offers organic juices, smoothies, acai bowls, sandwiches, salads, and vegan and gluten-free snacks. I have tried all their sandwiches and salads – I can’t pick a favorite as they are all tasty. The food is healthy, tasty, vibrant, and the perfect midday meal.
Everkrisp
Looking for fast and fresh food? Everkrisp is your answer. Their motto is “Where Farm meets Fast Food”. This is a favorite spot of mine to grab a quick and healthy lunch in Sandestin Resort. Everkrisp offers salads, bowls, sandwiches, and wraps that are made to order, so you’ll always get a fresh meal. My favorites are the South of the Border bowl and the Southern Flavor salad.
Marina Bar and Grill
For a classic waterfront experience, head to the Marina Bar and Grill. This restaurant is located at the Baytowne Marina, surrounded by breathtaking views of the marina. The menu includes mouthwatering seafood platters, juicy burgers, and refreshing cocktails. Try out the burger, Shrimp Po’ Boy, and their infamous Goombay Smash cocktail. My personal favorite is the Avocado BLT – pure heaven! It’s a great place to relax, soak in the sun, and enjoy the stunning views. It’s a local favorite!
Beach House
If you’re looking to walk off the beach (literally) and head to a casual lunch with a view, the Beach House is the perfect spot. It’s located next to the main beach access for the resort. A cozy beachfront restaurant that offers a laid-back atmosphere and classic American dishes. This option is more for those wanting a view. The food is fine, not great but not terrible.
I hope this guide helps you discover new, exciting lunch spots that will elevate your resort dining experience to the next level at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort.
