Dog people are easy to shop for because they will happily spend money on anything that makes their pup’s tail go. I know because I am that person, ha! Byron, my mini Aussie, has strong opinions about treats and zero patience for a boring toy, so I have strong opinions too. Here are the things that earned a spot in our house, sorted by the kind of dog (and owner) you are shopping for. Scroll the shelves under each section to see more.

Byron’s Treat Drawer

Let’s start with what he cares about most. Byron’s ultimate favorite is the Free Range Bully Sticks, and they’re the reason the bully stick holder I’ll tell you about below exists. For training, nothing beats the Happy Howies Lamb Meat Soft & Chewy roll. It is so great for training; he is completely obsessed, and they make other meat varieties too. Then there are the Pupford Gouda Crunchies, which he loves just as much (he’s a fan of the cheddar variety too). Everything I’ve picked for the treat lover lives on this shelf, so scroll.

For the Dog Who Needs a Job

Bored dogs get creative, so I keep Byron busy. The BullySafe is a holder that lets a bully stick be chewed all the way down without worrying he’ll swallow the last bit. The WOOF FlipMat Mini is a lick mat that he loves a variety of treats such as Greek yogurt, pumpkin puree, and peanut butter. Don’t want to leave out the WOOF Flyball to hide treats and the Fly n’ Feed for fetch fans. If your dog likes a challenge, this shelf also has puzzle toys and frozen treat toys.

Dressed for the Holidays

I’m not saying your dog needs a holiday wardrobe. I’m saying plaid looks good on everyone. This shelf has festive collars, the Letters to Santa snuffle toy, and the Howly Jowly Holidays advent calendar from Bark, which is a dog toy and treat countdown to Christmas. It is the easiest gift for the person who says they don’t need anything but whose dog definitely does.

The Everyday Stuff

Not every good gift is a squeaky one. Sometimes the best present for a dog person is the practical thing they would never buy themselves. My Puppy Necessities shelf has a collapsible crate and a crate cover, a detangling comb, and a calming spray for the dog who gets nervous.

All Byron’s Favorites

And here is the shelf I keep adding to. For the pup who travels, you will find the Springland water bottles and the Lambwolf Garden Set, which is for the gardener in all of us, pups included.

Keep Up with Jess
